Dillon K. Inouye co-founded Perfect Search in January of 2007. Prior to starting Perfect Search, he co-founded and served as interim manager of Q&A Technology Partners, the informal technology development partnership whose technology is that which Perfect Search Corporation is commercializing. He was previously a co-founder of Folio Corporation, a full text search company, which after a series of acquisitions is now owned by Fast, a leading enterprise search company. Dillon has also been involved in developing and selling communications, food distribution, and movie distribution companies. He was serving as an associate professor of Instruction Psychology and Technology at Brigham Young University. Dr. Inouye received his Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University with highest honors and his Ph.D. from Stanford University in the field of personality and cognitive psychology. To our immense sorrow, Dillon Inouye passed away in June of 2008.
Loren Lau, Board of Directors, is a former Finance Executive with DaimlerChrysler AG. Positions held there included Director, Corporate E-Business Finance; Finance Director (CFO) DaimlerChrysler Mexico; Finance Director (CFO) Eurostar Automobile Works and Chrysler Austria; and Group Controller, Gulfstream Aerospace. Mr. Lau received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, an M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and a M.A. in economics from the London School of Economics.
Porter J Hall, Board of Directors, was with Arthur Andersen for 33 years as a Senior Partner and Managing Partner of the Utah Practice. He specialized in public and private financings and merger and acquisitions. He has served as Chairmen and director for a number of private and public companies. He has also served as a director and Chairmen for a number or community and educational organizations. After retiring from Arthur Andersen he co-founded Myephit, a health and wellness company. He served as Chairmen of the board and Managing Partner prior to selling the company to Healthways. He is presently, Managing Partner of National Merchant Services dba iTransact, a company providing merchant services and a gateway to numerous companies. Mr. Hall received his B.S. Degree in Accounting from Brigham Young Universality.
John Palmer, Board of Directors, was the architect of the Intel 8087 floating point processor, a founder and CEO of NCUBE, an early massively parallel computer company, Director of Technical Marketing for Thinking Machines, Inc. and most recently a member of the Applied Minds brain trust organized by Bran Ferren and Danny Hillis. Mr. Palmer holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Brigham Young University, a master’s degree in mathematics from the University of Michigan, and a Ph.D. in computer science from Stanford University.
Other board members include members of the Management team, including Tim Stay, CEO, Ron Millett, co-inventor and Chief Scientist, and George Watanabe, co-founder, VP of Sales and Marketing, and Chairman of the Board.
